Stephen, along with his father, Peter Oud, were the founding members of Vanastra Packaging in1999. Stephen earned his Business Marketing Degree from Fanshawe College.

While learning the business, Stephen has drawn on his twenty-plus years of packaging

experience to help improve and better the packaging facility.  Working in the industry, Stephen has risen to become the Operations Manager and President of Vanastra Packaging.

In his current role, Stephen has continued to improve the business and look for new opportunities to maintain this growth path. Vanastra Packaging continues diversifying and improving itself through technology, developing partnerships, and property acquisitions.

Stephen credits his strength to succeed to his wife and three children. He is committed to building a solid business for the next generation.

Jason Oud a first generation Canadian of Dutch Parents.  Jason is happy to be working in Agribusiness.  

After college he became a field marketing representative, selling crop inputs and originating on-farm grain.  He prospected and maintained clientele in a very competitive market place. Learning crop production, performing crop input recommendations, managing trials, facility management, grain grading and origination. A lot of business deals were done over the counter, on a tailgate or a kitchen table. He became a CCA, Certified Crop Advisor and a Certified Sales Professional CSP.

In 2001 joined Vanastra Packaging.  He contributed to expansion and modernizing the process adding rail and embracing automation. The company has achieved multiple certifications and Commendations within our area and feed industry which it serves.  The family has earned a reputation for quality workmanship, timely service and clean operations.

 Jason has past volunteering experiences and has contributed to a number of causes, charities and organizations. Jason has a passion for community aesthetic improvements, mentoring, entrepreneurship and helping people.

When Jason’s not working he enjoys collecting classic Cadillacs, boating, live theatre, gardening and travelling. His biggest source of joy is his family.

Andrew joined Vanastra Packaging in 2009 as a general labourer when his father and co-founder, Peter Oud, became sick with colon cancer.  Andrew learned the business from the ground up with the guidance of his brothers Jason and Stephen Oud.  After several years Andrew joined the company as co-owner of Vanastra Packaging.  Andrew has been able to understand process and production of many of the manual lines and help implement two automated packaging lines.

Prior to joining Vanastra Packaging, Andrew holds a Red Seal Certification (310T) as a Truck and Coach Technician and graduate of Fanshawe College.  As a result of his training and experience he has traveled to share his knowledge.  This passion for seeing how things work and how to improve has benefitted Vanastra Packaging and its customer base.
